This policy explains what personal data Everlatern Academy collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Who is responsible for your data

What we collect, and why

We do not keep server access logs. Our hosting provider handles your IP address momentarily in order to deliver the page to you, as any web server must, but we do not record or store it.

We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on Standard Contractual Clauses where that does not apply.

How long we keep it

• Email list: until you unsubscribe, or after two years of no engagement, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing removes you.
• Analytics: 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Cookies

We set no analytics or marketing cookies until you accept them in the banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the link at the bottom of this page. Refusing has no effect on your ability to read the site or join the register.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may:

• ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
• have inaccurate data corrected
• have your data erased
• restrict or object to how we use it
• receive your data in a portable format
• withdraw consent at any time — this does not affect processing done before you withdrew

To exercise any of these, email contact@everlatern.com. We will respond within one month. Every email we send also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

If you believe we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be announced by email to the register.
